Last month, the Portuguese Parliament approved the proposal of formally changing the designation of the so-called Polytechnic Institutes in Portugal to Portuguese Polytechnic Universities and granting that such institutions are entitled to issue PhDs autonomously.

The QA Lead project was designed to provide training & learning resources specifically tailored to supporting institutional leaders in their strategic role towards Quality Assurance.

The European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE) has launched its Skills Community of Practice with a successful event held in Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain on February 1st.

The ATHENA project aims to support the Higher Education sector in becoming more interconnected, innovative and inclusive. The project is funded by Erasmus + and will run for two and a half years.

EURASHE invites full members to nominate candidates for the election of nine Board members for mandates of 2 years. The elections will take place at the upcoming General Assembly on 7 June 2023 in Bucharest, Romania.Â
