On the 4th of July, EURASHE hosted its annual Summer Cocktails, bringing together the Brussels policy community in a vibrant networking event with food and live music.
EURASHE recently held its 32nd Annual Conference in Bucharest, Romania, entitled 'Skills for Europe: Mobilising Higher Education for the Green and Digital Transitions'. It made an important contribution to the European Year of Skills, that was launched by the European Commission on May 9.
On 4 April, the EURASHE delegation led by President Armando Pires visited the central campus of its member, the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania, to discuss the preparations for the EURASHE 32nd Annual Conference 'Skills For Europe'.
We are pleased to announce that Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (Finland) has become a full member of EURASHE.
Last month, the Portuguese Parliament approved the proposal of formally changing the designation of the so-called Polytechnic Institutes in Portugal to Portuguese Polytechnic Universities and granting that such institutions are entitled to issue PhDs autonomously.
