Its main platform, the ERA Forum, supports the implementation of the ERA policy agenda by bringing together national Member State and Associated Countries’ governments, stakeholders in research and innovation, and the European Commission.

Improving the Articulation Between Research & Innovation and Higher Education
EURASHE plays a leading role in the ERA Forum’s Structural Policy on Improving the Articulation Between R&I and higher education. Together with Coimbra Group and the Young European Research Universities Network (YERUN), we co-sponsor this structural policy that aims to more systematically approach the connection between research and education at European level. Good practices and policy recommendations on how to better align R&I and HE across ERA countries are developed based on the four workshops that are organised under this Structural Policy.
Through our work, we advocate for an ERA that ensures higher education institutions are fully integrated into the research and innovation policy discussions, therefore building stronger regional innovation ecosystems.
