Secretariat

It is the head office in Brussels, from which the association is run on a daily basis. It is the responsibility of the Secretary General, who liaises with the members of the Board and General Assembly.

The EURASHE Secretariat is composed of different professionals, specialised in management, communication, project management and EU policy. The team is small but very much focused on EURASHEs’ mission and vision.

John is engaged in policy and representation activities at EU level focused on higher education learning, teaching, research, engagement with stakeholders and its service for society, he supervised various projects on specific related issues.

Policy and Project Manager

Jakub is responsible for following the European policy developments on HE with a particular focus on Quality Assurance, Micro-credentials, and the European Universities Initiative. He is also involved in European projects concerning these areas.

Maјa is involved in sustaining processes and strategy, as well as developing and monitoring procedures and policies in the Secretariat. She is also in charge of HR and legal issues while coordinating project administration, finances, planning and implementation.

Matilde is responsible for the implementation of the communication strategy and organisation of events, leading on the Annual Conference. She is also in charge of drafting the weekly and monthly newsletters and manages the website and social media channels.

Dominik supports EURASHE’s policy work, following the EU’s Research and innovation Policy and developing Policy position papers. He is also directly engaged with the Research Community of Practice and the Open Science Task Force.
