Second transnational meeting of the ATHENA project, held at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

EURASHE is delighted to welcome its first Associate Members following changes to its statutes that were approved earlier this year. This brand-new category is designed for partners and stakeholders who are not higher education institutions but who wish to collaborate with EURASHE and its members.

The networking session on European University Alliances aims to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among EURASHE members and other interested institutions regarding the new call for European University Alliances. It will provide a platform for institutions to discuss their successful experiences, share insights, and explore potential alliances for the call recently published by the European Executive Agency (EACEA).

On 28-29 September, EURASHE Secretary General John Edwards participated in the Council of Europe’s Conference of Ministers of Education - its 26th session that was first held in 1959. During the discussion on the renewal of the civic mission of education, the Secretary General delivered the following speech.
