The project’s principal objective is to facilitate a dialogue in the language field between the business community and language practitioners. CELAN is the direct result of the discussions within the Business Platform for Multilingualism, set up in September 2009 as part of the European Commission’s continuing commitment to raising awareness of the importance of language competence.
