The SPICE project supports the implementation of Bologna Process commitments across the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), focusing on student-centred learning, mobility, and quality assurance.
Project description
The Stakeholder Perspectives on Implementation of Commitments in the EHEA (SPICE) project brings together National Students’ Unions (NSUs) and higher education institutions, aiming to bridge gaps and foster collaboration for advancing higher education reform.
Building on the Tirana Communiqué (2024), SPICE prioritises integrating student perspectives, with a focus on inclusion, diversity, and equity. Through the Bologna With Students’ Eyes (BWSE) 2027 publication, the project will provide a student-centred report, collect data on Bologna commitments, and address challenges in the EHEA to inform future policy developments.
Through research and collaboration, SPICE aims to reduce implementation gaps, providing evidence-based insights to create a more inclusive, flexible, and responsive higher education system, contributing to a cohesive EHEA by 2027.
