ENQA RESPONSE TO COUNCIL RECOMMENDATION ON QA & RECOGNITION

As a partner in the E4 Group, EURASHE welcomes the recent briefing by ENQA in response to the Council Recommendation of 12 May 2025 on a European quality assurance and recognition system in higher education. We strongly support ENQA’s call to fully implement existing Bologna Process tools, reduce administrative barriers, and align national legal frameworks. These steps are essential to enable cross-border quality assurance, support international cooperation, and promote enhancement-led approaches.

Consistent implementation across the European Higher Education Area is crucial to ensure that quality assurance continues to drive innovation, mobility, and excellence in applied and professional higher education.
