EURASHE is excited to announce the launch of the U!Innovate project, a groundbreaking initiative to foster innovation and collaboration among higher education institutions (HEIs) across Europe. Funded by the European Commission through the EIT Higher Education Initiative, the project aims to strengthen HEIs’ ability to drive regional development and create societal impact through innovation.
U!Innovate brings together diverse European partners, each contributing unique expertise, including our members Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (Finland), HOGENT University for the Applied Sciences and Arts (Belgium), and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands).
The project aims to boost European competitiveness by transforming HEIs into more entrepreneurial universities. It focuses on developing entrepreneurial and innovation competencies to train future entrepreneurs, commercialise innovative ideas, and advance climate neutrality and smart city development.
This is achieved by the launch of a hybrid interregional incubator that strengthens partnerships with businesses, HEIs and students to create and scale up solutions for climate neutrality in Europe.
As a key partner, EURASHE leads the Work Package on Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation. This is crucial for ensuring that the project’s outcomes reach a wide audience and have a lasting impact. From organising events and workshops to training sessions, EURASHE is tasked with ensuring that the project’s results are widely shared and adopted, contributing to the long-term sustainability and success of the initiative.
Stay tuned for project updates and upcoming opportunities to engage. By working together, we can drive innovation and make a significant impact on our communities. Let’s innovate together!
