Dr. Tatjana Volkova is a Professor and former Rector of BA School of Business and Finance (Latvia), Member of Board of Association of Professors of Latvia, Member of Board of Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA), National Editor of Baltic Journal of Management, published by Emerald (UK), Expert of “National Development Plan of Latvia 2007-2013”, etc. She also is a former President of Rector’s Conference of Latvia, former Member of European University Association Council. Tatjana Volkova is a Professor of Strategic Management and has been invited to give lectures internationally. She is the author of research articles and series of books published nationally and internationally. Tatjana Volkova also been invited as a moderator and a speaker for many national and international conferences. Her special area research interests are Creative Economy, Integrative Thinking, Non-technological Innovations, Creative Industries and Clusters Management. She has participated in many intense career development programs as International Management Teachers Academy (Slovenia), Graduate School of Education at Harvard University (USA), Strategic Management Program at IESE (Spain). In addition to her academic career Tatjana Volkova has worked extensively in the nongovernmental and private sector, e.g., as a Training Officer of World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU, USA) representative office in Riga, Human resources recruiting company Amrop International (Finland), Manager at Dutch consultancy company “Rotterdam Consult” (Netherlands).
