EURASHE President Hannes Raffaseder has today sent open letters to European Commission Vice-President Roxana Mînzatu and Commissioner Ekaterina Zaharieva, congratulating them on their appointments and pledging support to their policy agendas.
As the voice of Applied Universities in Europe, EURASHE has a stake in many policy areas across the new College of European Commissioners. However, President Raffaseder has reached out to those with the highest relevance, impressing on them the transformative role EURASHE members can have on education, research and innovation, especially in the many cities and regions where they are located.
As a consultative member of the Bologna process, higher education stakeholder of the ERA Forum, and member of the E4 group (with the EUA, ESU and ENQA), EURASHE is committed to harnessing the potential of practice-based education and research for Europe’s policy priorities, especially in the field of competitiveness.
