The Fachhochschule Wiener Neustadt (FHWN) is a pioneering and expansive University of Applied Sciences in Lower Austria, with campus-sites in Wiener Neustadt, Wieselburg, Tulln, and collaborative study centres in Vienna and Salzburg. Esteemed for its entrepreneurial spirit, crossdisciplinarity and commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), FHWN offers diverse degree programs. Across five faculties – Business, Engineering, Health, Training and Sport, and Security – students can choose from 44 bachelor’s and master’s programs in German or English.

The FHWN fosters an innovative ecosystem, featuring a StartUp Center, open Innovation Lab, TechSpace “Area 27”, and its own research company, FOTEC. Catering to over 4,500 students, FHWN is primarily owned by the City of Wiener Neustadt (71%), with contributions from the Province of Lower Austria and the cities of Wieselburg and Tulln.

FHWN’s vision is to shape the future by providing practical-oriented education and fostering individuals ready to make a significant impact during and after their studies.
