Conference of Academies for Applied Studies in Serbia (CAASS)

The Conference of Academies for Applied Studies in Serbia (CAASS) represents an umbrella organization that, in accordance with the Law on Higher Education of the Republic of Serbia, unites, represents, and improves the work of all vocational higher education institutions.

CAASS acts within the framework established by law, which grants higher education a status of particular importance for the Republic of Serbia. As a representative body, its role is defined by legal frameworks, and particularly stands out through our participation in the work of the National Council for Higher Education. In this way, the Conference ensures that the voice of the vocational sector is directly represented in the processes:

1. 1. Ensuring the development and improvement of the quality of higher education.
   2. Establishing standards and procedures for ensuring quality.
   3. Aligning systems with the European space of higher education.
