EURASHE Research community of practice (ResCoP)

This online meeting will present the outcomes of the first meeting of the Community in Fulda and participants will have the opportunity to suggest themes for the Community to address. The structure of the Community will also be presented, including details about the ‘core group’, which involves physical meetings that are co-funded by EURASHE.

The EURASHE Research Community of Practice is progressing. During the face-to-face workshop in Fulda, Germany, participants analysed strengths, challenges regarding the (EU) research capacity of UAS and opportunities and threats of participation in EU research funding programmes as a starting point for further collaboration in the Research Community of Practice.

Taking the potential into account, there are significant opportunities for building collaboration among the European University of Applied Sciences. These include strengthening research capacity and staff working in higher education institutions, designing professional doctorates and relevant research in relation to industries, and developing joint projects under the EU research-funded programs.

For those who missed the workshop in Fulda, the webinar scheduled on September 19th, 2022 will provide an overview about results and topics discussed and will be used as a preparation for the next face-to-face workshop on November 11th, 2022 in Brussels. The general objectives are to attain feedback on the current progress, collect EURASHE members’ ideas, and come up with tangible actions. The brainstorming results will, ideally, need to be translated into joint proposals that, among others, underpin learning, teaching, and training activities.
