Today, EURASHE and other European associations and organisations from the higher education sector have published amendments to the proposed regulation governing the next Erasmus+ Programme (2028-2034).

The amendments aim to harness the core activities of the Erasmus+ Programme, namely mobility of individuals and transnational cooperation of institutions, to bolster the European Education Area and build a Union of Skills. They call for the strengthening of existing, proven initiatives such as European University Alliances and Centres of Vocational Excellence, including through enhanced use of synergies with other EU funding programmes, such as Horizon Europe and the Cohesion Policy.
