Pomeranian University in Słupsk is a state school of higher education with an over 50-year long tradition. It was founded in 1969 as Teacher’s College, later transformed into Higher Pedagogical School, only to become modern, classical Pomeranian University, offering Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes in a variety of fields. The University boasts highly qualified lecturing staff and well-equipped specialist and computer laboratories, as well as lecture halls. Our researchers carry out studies in 26 academic disciplines, encompassing such areas of investigation as the humanities, social sciences, engineering and technical sciences, exact and natural sciences, medical and health sciences, and art  sciences. Our research teams take part in a variety of national and international projects, either as dynamic leaders or as reliable partners.

The University is very active on an international arena, carrying out student and staff mobility programmes within the Erasmus+ programme, Norway/EEA Grants, and student exchange programmes within the framework of numerous bilateral agreements. We also offer double degree programmes for our international partners. The University takes part in prestigious international projects, including, for example, Erasmus+ funded CoVE (Centres of Vocational Excellence) and cooperation partnerships projects.
