Budapest Metropolitan University

Budapest Metropolitan University (METU) is the largest private university in Hungary, with two faculties: the Faculty of Business, Communication and Tourism and the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries.

The university has nearly 7000 students, of whom around 1000 are international students from over 100 countries around the world. The University’s innovations in education have earned its recognition as one of the world’s most prestigious higher education organizations. METU successfully completed the QS Stars higher education qualification process and based on the results, received 4-star rating out of a maximum of 5 stars. It also received the highest rating in the field of internationalization.

METU is the first and only Hungarian university to sign a long-term partnership agreement with Arizona State University (ASU), which has been named the most innovative university in the United States for the last ten consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report (2016-2025).
