TUS Research Week 2025 was a successful event with over 3,388 attendees and 69 activities centred on the theme “Sustainable Research in a Sustainable World.” It showcased TUS’s (Technological University of the Shannon) growing impact on regional economic and social well-being through collaborative research. The event, inaugurated by Prof Vincent Cunnane, President of TUS, emphasised the university’s commitment to attracting international researchers and forming global partnerships, especially through the RUN-EU alliance. A panel discussion featuring key figures from European politics and research organisations explored the intersection of research, policy, and innovation. This year’s event continued to focus on delivering forward-thinking, sustainable solutions in the university’s specialised areas, strengthening its role as a hub for impactful research.
