The Mutual Recognition Coordinator at the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority in cooperation with the European Commission organised a one -day Training Session for the Competent Authorities. The session was moderated by Mr Philip Vella, Mutual Recognition Coordinator, with the main content delivered by legal officers from the European Commission.
A variety of topics was discussed, such as:
- The key aspects of the Proportionality Test Directive and its application,
- Clarification of the definition of the temporary and occasional provision of services,
- Post-Brexit recognition processes,
- Applicable compensatory measures,
- Common Training Framework,
- Document requirements, and
- the Proportionality Test.
