The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) shares two important news that took place in the month of July: the Launch of the National Strategic Action Plan for Further and Higher Education and the Presentation of New Licences 2024.
1. Launch of the National Strategic Action Plan for Further and Higher Education
On 17 July 2024, the MFHEA had the distinguished honour of launching the National Strategic Action Plan for Further and Higher Education. This event marks an important moment in our journey towards advancing Malta’s education sector.
The MFHEA undertook a comprehensive vision-setting exercise to ensure that our strategy responds effectively to the rapidly changing global landscape. This strategic action plan is the culmination of extensive collaborations with stakeholders, aimed at co-designing solutions that align with both national and international goals. The authority’s vision is to create a dynamic and resilient knowledge ecosystem by 2030.
By addressing the evolving needs of our society and the global community, the MFHEA remains confident that this strategic plan will pave the way for significant advancements in Malta’s education system, fostering growth and sustainability for future generations.

2. Presentation of New Licences 2024
On 19 July 2024, the MFHEA invited all providers whose licenses were issued over the past year. This was an opportunity to celebrate different achievements! The MFHEA extends gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to making this ceremony possible.
