Smart UAS in Smart Regions: Lower Austria
30
March 2022
Online
The EURASHE webinar series on Smart UAS in Smart Regions returns with a spotlight on Lower Austria. It will build on a case study of the region carried out by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, as part of its HESS project (Higher Education for Smart Specialisation). The webinar is being organised jointly with EURASHE member UAS St. Pölten and the European Alliance E³UDRES² that it coordinates. This European University is strengthening its capacity in innovation and entrepreneurship through the EIT’s HEI Initiative, with a project called E.I.N.S (Entrepreneurship and Innovation Network for Smart and Sustainable European Regions).
The webinar will include an introduction to the HESS project by the European Commission, as well as a summary of its case study on Lower Austria. A panel discussion will bring together a senior figure in the regional authority, responsible for the Lower Austria Smart Specialisation Strategy with UAS representatives in the region.
