European Week of Regions and Cities

Workshop: University Alliances harnessing talent and skills in Europe’s regions

8

Oct 2024

16:30 – 18:00

Brussels, Belgium

Face-to-face

As part of the European Week of Regions and Cities, EURASHE is organising this in-person workshop in partnership with Hanze University of Applied Sciences, coordinator of the Alliance STARS EU, and Universities of Applied Sciences Netherlands (UASNL).

Since the workshop has reached its full capacity, registrations are now closed.

The European Universities Initiative was launched in 2019 to deepen transnational cooperation among Higher Education Institutions. Yet these alliances of HEIs, especially those with an applied nature, can also connect their regions, attracting and retaining talent and skills for economic transformation.

This session will bring together regional stakeholders, HEIs and European policy makers to discuss how European University Alliances can make a difference to their cities and regions.
