The Erasmus+ programme, the new multiannual programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport, came to the final approval of the European Parliament, linked to the approval of the Multiannual Financial Framework 2014-2020, in Strasbourg on 19 November 2013. EURASHE, following a decision by its Council, reiterates its strong support for the Erasmus+ programme, while acknowledging its appreciation to the European Commission – DG Education and Culture and the Culture and Education Committee for the support given to both higher education and the civil society organisations involved in the higher education sector.
In the following weeks, European Commission will publish the Programme Guide and the calls for project applications for the year 2014. Erasmus+ is the new programme supporting developments in education, training, youth and sports in the period 2014 – 2020.
