The objective of the second SEPHE study is to make a comparative description (and analysis) of the way in which professional higher education institutions as educational organisations and as business organisations in 10 selected European countries (Netherlands, France, Ireland, Portugal, Finland, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Austria and one of the German Länder, Baden-Würtenberg), contribute to promote sustainable entrepreneurship (SE) or corporate social responsibility(CSR) in particular and sustainable development (SD) in general. The study will focus on the way in which sustainable development is integrated into general. contents and curriculum (theory-practice-placements). It will also focus on the educational goals (profile, competencies) and methodology (pedagogical methods and approaches such as project teaching, collaborative learning, role plays and simulation exercises such as business games), used to promote sustainable development.. The study will also highlight how sustaianble development is integrated into the perception, mission, vision and policy of the higher education institution as a whole and the departments , faculties or units separately. Furthermore specific focus will be given to the strengths, weaknesses and obstacles as to SDand/ CSR, and to the evaluation tools used to check what has happened in the field of SD, SE and CSR in the institution of higher education both as an educational organisation and as a business organisation.
