Project summary
The main objective of the IMPACCT (Improving Patient-centered Communication Competencies) project was to improve the relevance and quality of education of medical and nursing students in Europe through the development, implementation, evaluation and dissemination of an evidence-based Health Literacy Educational Programme. Result of the project was also the development and evaluation of two Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs).
The educational programme developed by the project offers more than 80 engaging and evidence informed educational activities, such as interactive lectures, role plays, assignments, and workshops. A comprehensive collection of extra materials, relevant scientific readings, and educator guides make this educational programme practical to use, straightforward in its instructions and adaptable to the individual needs of the users and to different contexts.
