Abstract | This paper analyses unintended consequences of evaluations, which must be avoided as much as possible. We argue that the Institutional Evaluation Programme was created as a programme sensitive in relation to the university traditions and the national conditions of the universities in a country, therefore reducing the negative aspects of unintended consequences. |
