Faculty audit with collegial participation is the Vice-Chancellor´s powerful tool for reviewing the faculties’ quality management at the University of Gothenburg. It has had a positive impact on the quality work. Cornerstones of this model are that no self-valuation reports are prepared and that members of the audit groups are all from within the university (a student representative is always included). During this workshop, we will provide structured background information on how we carry out audits and share thoughts on advantages and disadvantages of this process. Possible areas of improvement will be discussed with the workshop participants.
