Abstract
The concept of quality of education lays on a basis of estimation of educational technologies and programs. This term is widely used in modern education, however it is possible to tell with full confidence, that the essence of value of this concept up to the end is not opened neither a science, nor practice, neither managers from education, nor our pedagogical public.
The philosophical dictionary gives such interpretation of a category of quality: "Quality is essential definiteness of a subject by virtue of which it(he) is given, instead of other subject and differs from other subjects. Quality of a subject, as a rule, is not reduced to its separate properties. It is connected to a subject as the whole, covers him completely and inseparably from". Therefore the concept of quality contacts life of a subject. The subject cannot, being oneself to lose the quality.
Tracking of quality is necessary for preservation by educational establishments of the basic values and ideals of education: free search of true and disinterested spread of knowledge.
