The session will provide various practical examples of employability initiatives run by the EC Futures team at Coventry University in partnership with employers and explain how can be quality managed efficiently while fulfilling the competing demands of university regulations, student employability and effective employer engagement. Initiatives that will be covered include Industrial Placement Schemes, academic modules run in partnership with employers, Employability Industrial Advisory Panels and Real World Projects. EC Futures were recently awarded The Best University Placement Service in the UK 2015 at the National Undergraduate Employability Awards. Coventry University were also recently awarded the prestigious Guardian University Award for Employability 2015.
