The conference will be organised by the European network UAS4EUROPE in cooperation with the Bavarian Research Alliance and the Representation of the State of Hessen to the European Union.
It will address the challenges UAS are facing when engaging on the European level, but also the chances international cooperation offers. Furthermore, it will provide interesting insights into the European Commission’s agenda for the coming years, practical tips on how to successfully apply for funding as well as many opportunities to exchange experiences with officials and other applicants. To facilitate networking and allow a more in-depth exchange, the afternoon session will consist of parallel workshops on
- Health and Wellbeing
- Environment, Food and Agriculture
- Living and Working in the 21st Century
- Energy and Climate Change
- Enabling and Industrial Technologies, Digitalisation
- Arts and Design
The conference is intended primarily for researchers and EU (policy) officers working at European UAS and it will be followed by an evening reception.
Participation is free of charge. Please register before 3 March 2017. You will receive an automatic notification if your registration has been successful. However, please wait for the final confirmation of participation before booking flights and accommodation. Final confirmations will be sent out as of January. In case of an over-subscription, we will strive at welcoming researchers from as many European countries as possible.
