12.00 – Lunch
More than 25 participants from Russia, Ukraine and Belgium attended the Workshop. They include the Provost of Kiev Law University of the Ukranian Academy of Science; lecturers from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel as well as Universiteit Gent.
Stefan Delplace, EURASHE‘s Secretary General represented the organisation along Simone Goetschalckx on behalf of Flamenco.
About 30 representatives of Flemish, Russian and Ukrainian higher education institutions participated in the meeting.
Kim Van Der Borght (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) gave an introduction on the study of law in Flanders, while Vladimir Petrov (Open Social Institute) and Iurii Boshytskyi (Kiev Law University of the Ukranian Academy of Science) presented the Russian and Ukrainian law studies respectively.
The aim of the meeting was to facilitate networking and to offer the Flemish, Russian and Ukrainian higher education institutions the opportunity to discuss future cooperation.
