European Society for Engineering Education (SEFI)

SEFI is an international non-profit organisation (a so-called “aisbl”) established in 1973 in accordance with the Belgian Law.It was founded by 21 European Universities (Hogere Technische School Breda (NL), Imperial College of Science and Technology (UK), Institut National d‘Agronomie (F), Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine (F), INSA Toulouse (F), Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (B), North East London Polytechnic (UK), Politecnico di Milano (I), Politecnico di Torino (I), RTWH Aachen (D), Rijksuniversiteit Gent (B), Royal Institute of Technology (S), TH Eindhoven (NL), TU Berlin (D), Università degli Studi di Bologna (I), Università degli Studi di Pisa (I), Université Libre de Bruxelles (B), Université de Liège (B), UMIST (UK), University of Stuttgart (D), University of Trondheim (N).SEFI is the first example of an association directly linking the institutions of higher engineering education, hence independent of national and/or community filters in establishing its policy, as an international forum for discussing problems and identifying solutions relating to engineering education.SEFI is the largest network of institutions of higher engineering education, individuals, associations and companies in Europe.
