Established in 1985, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) is situated in the city of Lahore, the cultural capital of Pakistan. It has been at the forefront of educational excellence for over 3 decades and is amongst the leading universities in South Asia. The university comprises five schools, namely the Suleman Dawood School of Business; the Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities and Social Sciences; the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering, the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law, and the School of Education, offering a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Keeping this in view, LUMS established the Quality Enhancement Cell and appointed personnel to assist the Registrar on all matters pertaining to Quality Assurance at the university level. The QEC will enable the University to meet and exceed the requirements set out by regulatory and accreditation bodies, both local as well as international while encouraging a ‘culture of quality’ within LUMS.
