Branko Savić is the president of the Conference of Academies for Applied Studies in Serbia (CAASS) since August 2015. He obtained his PhD in mechanical engineering and was elected as college professor (Professor of vocational studies) on 1 March 2000. He is one of the founders of new study programmes in the areas of graphical engineering and design, and representing CAASS he participated in the drafting of normative acts related to higher professional studies in Serbia. From 2007 he was the coordinator for all study programmes in Graphical engineering and design at the School of Higher Technical Professional Education in Novi Sad – VTSNS. From 2012 he served as assistant director for publishing and cooperation with the industry, where he currently works as a director. Branko published over 100 papers and participated in several scientific projects, including Tempus and Erasmus+ ones. He has been elected to the Board of EURASHE in 2016 for a 2-year mandate.
