Raul Ranne is Chair of the European RPL Network and has been Coordinator of Recognition of Prior Learning for the Estonian Archimedes Foundation since 2008. Archimedes Foundation is a body established by the Estonian government with the objective to coordinate and implement different international and national programmes and projects in the field of training, education and research. His main activities and responsibilities include the management of recognition of prior learning and experience (RPL) project. Raul Ranne has been part of the creation and management of a network of experts in the field of RPL and organizing their activities to support further development of RPL in 19 partner institutions of higher education. Prior to his work at the Archimedes Foundation and in the framework of the European RPL Network, Mr Ranne, graduate of Universities of Tartu and Tallinn, was Policy Officer at the Federation of Estonian Student Unions.
