Rob Mark is currently Head of Lifelong Learning, University of Strathclyde, Scotland which offers a wide range of vocational and general interest programmes for mature adults. The Centre also programmes targeted specifically at the needs of older learners ( 50+). Rob has worked right across the Education sector in schools, colleges, universities and in the community and voluntary sector. His research interests are located in the broad field of Education and Lifelong Learning. He has worked on European-funded projects in a wide range of areas including quality and learning, access to higher education, literacy and community learning and policy and management of lifelong learning. He is currently involved with a European Lifelong Learning project looking at links between policy, practice and research in lifelong learning.
