Michael Hörig joined the European University Association (EUA) in October 2006. Within the Policy Analysis, EUA governance and External Relations Unit, Michael contributes to the policy on qualifications frameworks, credit systems, lifelong learning and the Bologna Process. Previous to his function at EUA, Michael Hörig was involved in ESIB – The National Unions of Students in Europe, representing the students’ interests in the Bologna Process. He also worked for 3 years as a communication and international officer at the National Union of Students in Flanders. Michael Hörig holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, from Ghent University, Belgium and studied one year at Stockholm University, Sweden.
