Jana Hendrichová

Ms Hendrichova is since February 2007 State Secretary of Government Office of Czech Republic. Before, she was Director of Department –EU and International Relations in Ministry of Finance. From 1999 to 2005 she was Director of Centre for Foreign Assistance. Beside this function she was also a Representative of National Aid, Co-ordinator for programmes of the EU Phare and Transition Facility, Representative of the CR in the EU committees of these programmes (1999 – 2/2007), Co-ordinator of preparation for the Financial Mechanisms of the European Economic Area in Norway (2002 – 2/2007).  Ms Hendrichova was Member of the team for preparation of the EU Cohesion Fund and the Structural Funds (2001 – 2004) and also a Co-ordinator of the EU Solidarity Fund (2002 – 2003). From 1999 to 2004 Ms Hendrichova was Representative of MoF in the preparation, management and monitoring commitees of the EU pre-accession programmes ISPA, SAPARD and EU funds. In 2005 she became for 2 years a chairwoman of the monitoring committee of the EEA / Norway Financial Mechanisms. Before, she was Member of the Committee of the Govt. Council for the Non-state Non-profit Organisations (2004 – 2006) and Member of the Academic Council of the Finance and Public Administration University (2000 – 2003). From 1994-1999 Ms Hendrichova was Head of Unit- Analyses and Strategy in Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and from 1990 to 1994 Ms Hendrichova was Head of projects in Centre for Higher Education Studies in Prague. Ms Hendrichova started her career as a Researcher in Prognostical Institute in Czechoslovak Academy of Science in Prague and as an Assistant Editor in Sociological Institute in Czechoslovak Academy of Science of Prague.
