Guy Haug

Played a key role in the shaping and initiating the Bologna Process and the EU’s agenda for the modernization of higher education as part of the Lisbon Strategy (now EU2020), as well as the ERASMUS and TEMPUS programmes for mobility and cooperation in European Higher Education. Has extensive experience of cooperation and mobility with other world regions, in particular North America, Latin America and Asia. Is currently Advisor to the Rector team of the Valencia University of Technology, Spain. Holds a Master degree in Law (Strasbourg), an MBA (Ottawa), a Doctorate in Political Science (Strasbourg/Tübingen) and a Doctorate h.c. from HETAC (Ireland).
