Organisation

According to the Statutes, EURASHE has the following bodies: the Presidium, the Executive Board, the Council, the Secretariat and the General Assembly.

 

PRESIDIUM

It consists of the President and the two Vice-Presidents and is assisted by the Secretary General. The Presidium meets when the occasion requires it.

COUNCIL

It consists of the President, the two Vice-Presidents, two delegates per member state and one observer per associate member. The Council meets at least two times a year, in order to discuss the policy (issues) of the association and to define the strategy for the working year.

SECRETARIAT

It is the head office in Brussels, from which the Association is run on a daily basis. This is the responsibility of the Secretary General, Stefan Delplace, who liaises with the members of the Presidium (President & Vice-President, Financial Director), and Council, which is the policy-making body of the association.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY

General Assembly consists of up to 3 delegates per national association, 1 delegate per professional association and 1 delegate per individual institution. The Plenary Council meets annually, in conjunction with the annual conference.
